History
Our family farm dates back to 1911. The first orchard was planted in the early 1940's. We have continued on this same farm for over sixty years, with the fifth generation now working at the orchard. The original orchard contained 480 standard sized trees on sixteen acres. The trees were planted in a 45 foot square which allowed them to grow without touching. The trees were around 25 feet tall which made maintenance and picking a difficult task. It can take as long as 10 years for a standard sized tree to produce a market crop.
